What the Law States according to NT Law for Stealing

According to NT Law for the charge of Stealing,

The term "steal" is defined in Section 209 of the Criminal Code. A person steals if they intended to keep the property permanently. Section 210 of the NT Criminal Code creates the offence.

The Maximum Penalty - Stealing

According to NT Law for the charge of Stealing, Any person who steals and is guilty of a crime is liable if no other punishment is provided to prison for 7 years. If the thing stolen is a testamentary instrument, whether the testator is living or dead, or if the thing stolen has a value of $100,000.00 or more the offender is liable to imprisonment for 14 years.
